problem


hey my car acceleration is way down
my check engine light will come on when i am doin 55 and up some times
it will for sure come on when i push my car like when i race or just gun it
my acceleration is terriable
1 and 2nd are the worset
I no this is not a lot to go n and i am goin to have a mechanic look at it but any ideas would be great

my car jumps some what wwhen i shift from 1st to 2nd but it only does that some what I am dont no what it is my chenck engine comes on about every other day or so and my acceleration is terriable

I thought you could not get codes fron the 94-98 or is it that you just cant get a tuner that will tell you codes

i never heard that before. put it this way, when i had my 98 gt and i was having some problems, all i did was take it up to autozone and my buddy rusty scanned the codes. replaced an iac and tp sensor

0k i will do that
I just heard that the 94-98 dont have the connect for the tuners so you would have to get a chip and I have always heard of people using tuners to get there engine codes

ive never dealt with tuners personally. my friends have. but yea, just go to autozone and get your stuff checked.

i'm pretty sure that 96 & up is OBDII so it will work with tuners & work with thier code readers.
