2nd Gear

Okay, I know this is the "engine" category, but oh well. When I'm casually driving my 96' GT I'm fine (aka shifting into 2nd gear is fine). But when I get on it and I want to throw it into 2nd for speed shifting and racing, it grinds. I'm thinking it has something to do with the 2nd gear syncronizer. I might need a new one. But I was also thinking that it just might need new tranny fluid. Any ideas, suggestions, concerns???

U should try posting this in the modular -96-98 forum. U'll get better feedback. Or atleast in the drivetrain section. Other than that, good luck
