Aluminum 4.6


will a 4.6 out of a mark VIII work in my 02 gt? i plan to us the bottom end only. What should i look for?

The timing cover may or may not bolt up. But everything else should be a direct swap. Why not use the heads too and get a cobra intake?

because they are B heads, and intake.

Amazingly im looking at doing the same thing. It will be a direct bolt in, but using PI heads means you have you get a different Timing cover from a T bird I think, but you may beabel to use your existing timing cover.

I know they're B-heads. Thats the reason why i asked why hes not keeping them. Personally, i would take the B-head over any modular 2v head, and get myself an IMRC deleted, and shortend runner cobra upper and lower.

But, its his car, his preferences. I was just curious.
