EGR Delete


If you do an EGR delete, will the car no longer pass emissions?

depends on the computer tune. here we do OBDII emissions, and with a few clicks on the keyboard, i passed everytime. although now i have a race car/show car waver so i dont have to worry about it.

what exactly is OBDII emissions? i get a sniffer test here in PA

OBDII emissions is where 96 and new cars just gets pluged into the dioagnostic port. if the computer says everything is ok, you pass. here in IL they dont test cars 95 and onder because they dont have the insurance for the rollers anymore. just 96 and newer with OBDII.

That's what they do here in NC too. The only draw back is that they lift the car and visualy confirm you still have cats. Otherwise an o/r x pipe with some mils would be on there in a second.
