Comp cams?

I was interested in buying the Ford Racing Hot Rod cams, but I made a call to Sutton HP and as many of you have found out, the cams are not available yet. Now, I am leaning toward the Comp cams with the heavier springs. How do the NSR cams compare with the Comp cams with the springs kit? And I am going to need an installer close to my home in West Kentucky. I am close to Nashville, Memphis, Louisville and Evansville Indiana. Thank you, Fomocoro

2006 3 valve

I forgot to mention that my car is a 2006 GT 3 valve. Thanks for the info and the wicked sounding clips. Ron

talk to 07stanggt, he seems to know quite a bit about these cams, and from listening to him, you will probly get comp NSR cams (power gains)........i am going to wait on the FRPP cams just because of the radical idle.

Give the guys at BB&T Racing a call at 662-280-7200. They are just outside of Memphis in Southaven MS. They sell alot of parts and do machine work, engine builds, installs, & custom tuning. They have a very nice dyno in house.

You could also contact Dynospeed. Talk to Joe Beegle or Rick Spurr. They will hook you up.

Thanks for the info.

I have my torque converter ordered and will most likely get the hot rod cam when it is available. Both of the shops close to Memphis sound very reputable. Thanks for the advice. Ron
