h pipe or x pipe?


ok i want an exhaust that is deep loud and throaty ive already chosen to get the magnaflow cat back but i need a mid pipe ive heard that x pipes sound raspy so i was thinking about getting a mac o/r hpipe anyone have one or have comments about this please help....thanks

Magnaflow isn't throaty, Magnapacks are though. Make sure you get the packs, as the flows aren't much louder than stock. An X pipe would go best with a straight through muffler like that, although h pipes are usually alittle deeper.

Agreed! But go w/ the O/R H if your looking for the deep, throaty sound...

If you want to deep rumble sound go with the O/R H or prochamber. and if you are looking for H pipes go with a MAC they are a good product.

+1! I forgot about the Prochamber. If you don't have a budget limit go w/ the Prochamber. My buddy's 02 GT w/ Prochamber & MAC's is one of the best sounding cars I've heard! But if you have limits go w/ the H, you can't go wrong w/ either of those though..

yea i was planning on getting the magnapacks and a mac o/f h pipe and bbk headers......
