Magnaflow Magnapacks?

Hey my buddy has an 00 GT w/ the Magnapack cat-back on and it sounds real nice! I like how his sounds but do you think if I got that cat-back w/ my O/R H do you think it would sound good? Just out of curiousity...

ss_silverado327 just just magnapacks on his 04GT with a O/R X pipe, it is loud but really dosent sound that great (very raspy) he is going to switch to a prochamber.

The X has more of a rasp though, I have an H. I know it'll be a different sound w/ the H, but I think I'll need cats to maintain good sound quality w/ magnapack or SLP...

With my setup it is relatively quiet at idle and lower RPM's, but at WOT it is LOUD! I have heard that the H-pipe would produce a deeper, more mellow tone than the X. I bought some Magnaflow mufflers from Joe a while back, and when I get back to the states I will swap them out with the packs that I have on now and see if I like the way the regular mufflers sound as opposed to the packs.

The magnaflows are usually pretty decent sound wise at idle and part throttle but at WOT the magnaflows are LOUD as can be.
