Quiet exhaust

Is there a quiet performance muffler? I have a pair of ultraflows on my 94 gt. Seems to be slightly loud. Doesn't bother me but I have a few neighbors who give me looks. I am going to install some shorty headers and am curious if I can keep the sound level down a little.

a quiet muffler would be magnaflow mufflers. not the magnaPACKS, but magnaflows, because the PACKS are the opposite of quiet :wink

Cool, checkin' it out. I may say the heck w/it and get a superformance mkIII with the side oiler 427 at 550 hp and big ol' sidepipes and let 'em squirm at the rumble.

I had borlas, and with a BBK catted X, they sounded not very far from stock. Be ready to shell out some serious cash though.
