Exhaust Setup For my V8??

I have a 2002 gt. I already have bassani cat-backs but I want to get mid pipes and headers without spending to much. I was looking at the: BBK shorty H catted with Mac 1 long tube headers. Wut do u think about this setup??? Any suggestions for under $800?

Long tubes will give you a lot of sound. You could also go with an off-road H-pipe [not cats]. They go for around $140.

Funny story: I had a guy that lives three blocks from my parents house, who owns a Cobra, follow me to my parents house just to ask me what exhaust I had. He had flows and he thought they were way too quiet. He said he wanted his car to sound mean like mine.

Also no 3" exhaust unless you are making about 400 RWHP or you may lose torque.

I don't hate them, but to me Flows are the perfect exhaust for people that want to sound better than stock, but still be quiet enough to not piss off the neighbors.
