Newbie Question..
Q: What are ported heads?
Q: What are cams? I've seen these terms/names used on alot of youtube videos and articles about v6's that have been modded to have an amazing sound. Examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t45WWwCvjMY&NR=1 I'm a newbie at cars, but I have a heart and a desire to learn.. I know newbies get a bad rep alot since they are new at something and the veterans laugh ( I play counter-strike I know all about that lol ) so anyone who is nice enough to answer my questions just know I do appreciate it, and that you're helpin develop a passion that I see myself being good at. ported heads....
the heads on your car are taken off and "ported" thus bringing more air flow=more HP Cam.. CAMSHAFT. |
