break in time?


am i loosing my mind or is there a break in time for exhaust systems because the flow cat-back i had put on a week ago sounds like to me is getting louder slowly but surley i checked and its all still in tack which sence its welded if itwasnt there be something wrong but my wife and me both notice it getting louder is this possible or is the heat getting to me lol

there is a coating on the exhaust that burns off.. I guess that could make it a tad louder but there isn't really a break in time.

yea i never heard of it either but i would blame it on loosing my mind but my wife brought it up without me mentioning it lol

If the mufflers have are insulated like SLP LM2's they will get louder over time (week or two) then basically stay the same.

Somebody told me that once the carbon gets built up in there it will make it louder...
