SpinTech?

Is this a good brand to go with on a 87 Mustang LX? I been looking at possibly their side exit system with either h or x pipe.

i'm running a Spin Tech catback with Dr. Gas X pipe on my car and i love it, it doesn't sound like every other mustang with flowmasters. it's loud, a little raspy. haven't heard the side exhaust but i can't imagine it sounds a whole lot different

A friend of mine is running a catted H pipe with Spintech catback on his 05 GT.

Sounds really good.

it'll probably sound nasty! i listened to a sound clip of a Bullitt with stock manifolds, Mac catted H and SpinTech catback and it sounded great! sounds like you've got a nice combo there. if you go that route, post up a sound clip!

aight, i'll c wut i can do. but b4 i do i got one last question. on the spintech website, it says that the side exit system for "All Mustangs 69-01" with 4.6 or 5.0 uses the "stock h pipe". would the mac one just take the place of it an bolt up to the spintech cat back like the stock one would? i know it may sound dumb at first, maybe cuz i gave it too much thought, but still, i want to be sure b4 i go spendin all dis $$$.

you shouldn't have any problems using the Mac H to substitute for the stock midpipe. also, check the Mac website for the 1 3/4 headers. they have them for 5 speed and auto for your car.
