V6 Exhaust

Yes i know its a V6, but i have to have a little rumble in it! so Im thinking ima going to get long tube headers bc everyone says taht they make it sound better, and for performance reasons. After the headers i want to go with an offroad H or X pipe. idk which one. I want Original 40's. heres my ?'s

1.) Which one..and H or X pipe??
2.) How do i make it so my check engine light doesnt come on?? the MIL eliminators or what??
3.) would it sound horrible if i didnt put any pipe on after the mufflers??

1. h deeper sound x higher sound performance gains x marginal more
