Question

PYPES SS Exhaust System w/ X-Pipe any good?

Im wondering how good the PYPES SS Exhaust System w/ X-Pipe are?

i know they use the cheaper 409 ss for mostly everything other than the tips where they use the - better 304 ss

what comes with the kit
-Brand New 409 Stainless Steel Violator Mufflers ~ Pair
- 3.0" Polished T-304 Stainless Steel Tips
- Off-Road 409 Stainless Steel X-PIPE
- Lifetime warranty on mufflers for as long as you own the car

Smooth, seam-coated, 16 gauge, mandrel-bent, 2.5" Stainless steel pipe
All "The Beast" kits include the new Violator Muffler
Includes all hangers and plated hardware
Slip-fit for ease of installation
Installation instructions are included
All Pypes mufflers carry a Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty

or should i just stick with the slp kits from AM.com?

thanks

total... probably 15-20... i really dont know. You honostly wont gain much from any exhaust upgrade, at least not enough to feel. Pretty much every exhaust is the same in the HP department...

Exhaust is your opinion on the sound your car makes, not about how much hp you gain, its to make sound and give your car personality!!!

i have the 409 catted x and the 304 catback along with 304 tips.

I would highly suggest this exhaust over any other chambered muffler out there. If on an o/r x, they're as loud as mac flowpaths (loudest chambered muffler). The sound awsome too.

Louder and raspier = O/R X
Still Loud and Deep but still sound like an X = Catted X
