catalytic converter?

Do our cars need an air tube on the catalytic converter or no?

Like this one in the bottom right:

I plan on buying 2 hi-flow magnaflow cats within the week, and want to make sure I buy the right one. I would look under my car to see if I currently have an air tube, but it's under 2 feet of snow and ice so I can't see nothing.
