Headers


im gonna invest in a mac exhaust and have a friend of mine who does exhaust for a living craft me a h-pipe but should i keep stock headers or buy new ones....and if so long or short

i have to have cats my state has testing so id like to keep them to save hassle of having to put them back on everytime i gotta get tested

unless you have plans on going turbo then dont waste your money

with emissions testing you should probably avoid long tubes, they usually don't pass. if that doesn't matter to you then yes, longtubes will produce a wider power band and make more power...otherwise i would just go with shorty headers 1 1/2-1 5/8.
