muffler or no muffler

friday im going to the track
ive run the car 3in no muffer dumps right to the ground after the motor

what i have- 3inch piping to 2.5inch then to a magnaflow with a 2.5 single dump
im gonna run 11.6psi, 4 gallons 100octane-maybe 2-3gallons 93

cant decide what

i've run it open before on 8.7psi felt a noticable loss on the low end

i do have 10ft of 3inch piping and two 3 inch pipe connectors...all i'd need is some utlra flow muffler from an auto store or thrush or a glass pack

thats what hes putting in there at the track. hes mixing his fuel to come out to a certain octane.

Uhmmm honestly, i thonk it benefit you more if you had the muffler. its liek unbolting you catback basically right? you lose a tone of backpressure. well at least I did when I did that on mine. I say leave the muffler.

im bringing 4 gallons with me to the track thats already premixed

not sure how much will be left when i hit the track....so im going to pour the whole thing in

as far as catback its different
turbo re-acts much different with exhaust and backpressure. backpressure is turbo's enemy
