headers are hitting stearing arm


Discussing headers are hitting stearing arm in the Exhaust Forum. Any ideas how to bend the header pipe so that it does rub against the ...

headers are hitting stearing arm

Any ideas how to bend the header pipe so that it does rub against the steering arm. Could I use a propane torch to heat the pipe and then smack it with a hammer, or any ideas????

take it to a machine shop and have them bend the pipes.. you put a hole in it and your assed out.. if they do they owe you headers

I didn't want to take them off if possible, but way have to do that.......

I have a place that would probably do it for free

I was thinking

I was sitting here thinking maybe I could just remove the steering arm and grind a little bit of it away. There is only a slight binding at some times, so maybe this would be the best alternative. I would think if I didn't go crazy, and only removed a few 32's of it, I would be ok??
