20th Annual AETC®

After increased sponsor support, AETC® reduces registration fee of the Advanced Ford Modular Performance Conference

On December 7-9, the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference™ will focus on the latest trends in Ford Modular engine technology, and thanks to strong outpouring of sponsor support this year, now offers a reduced registration fee in celebration of its 20th Anniversary.

“We are glad to lead the support of the AETC® event along with other sponsors, and are proud that our collaborated sponsorship efforts have helped offer the AETC® experience at a reduced rate,” said Scott Wahlstom of Motor State Distributing.

Held just three days before the PRI Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, this year’s event will feature a welcome reception, exclusive seminars and booklets, along with the opportunity to network with some of the biggest icons in the performance industry. In addition, the 20th annual event will include tens of thousands of dollars in product giveaways, meals and snacks throughout each day, new Modular product manufacturer showcase and review, an insider networking cocktail party and free admission into the 2009 PRI Trade Show.

Among the topics to be discussed are cylinder head design, advanced tuning tips for supercharged Mod motors and insider information on new Ford technological developments. Although the topic is “Ford Modular” performance, seminars and Ford Modular Expert Panel Roundtable discussions will not be limited to just one focus. The AETC® is an excellent place to meet and discuss current engineering topics with a wide variety of industry leaders in a relaxed atmosphere, an experience not found with most conference events.

The registration fee is now reduced for the celebration of the event’s 20th anniversary. For more information, call 1-866-893-2382 or visit us online at AETConline.com.

I have a 99 gt purchased from a good friend. Prior to purchase he replaced the aftermarket stereo with the factory unit because it was thought that something involving the radio was draining the battery. After the factory unit was back in, there appeared to be no battery drain. But after owning the car for a month or so and not driving it every day or every other, the issue is back. Removed both radio fuses and have left the car sit for several days with no start up and car starts just fine. Question is were do I go from here? I would like to repair it as to putting in a battery cutoff or keep pulling the fuses. Thanks.
