Im sorry if this isnt the correct place to add this but I was wondering where to start on my fox body. The car was given to me for free from my moms friend. He took almost all of his parts out (super charger, 351 Cleavland, etc) But he left under drive pulleys, ram air, stage 3 clutch, H pipe, flow master 40's and 3.08s. I have alot of things planed, My first thing i was going to get was a new maf (76mm) new throttle body and egr (75mm) and new headers, all next week. Down the line i want to get a 347 stroker kit, new heads, kb super charger, larger injectors, new lower intake, full msd ignition, new roller rockers, and a lunati cam.

my budget is fairly tight right now.

Am I going this the right way? Am i forgeting anything? Purchasing everything in the right order etc.

Tokico HP series shocks... so impressed!

So I got a pair from AmericanMuscle, and I have to say, these outperformed my expectations by miles. I bought them, only hoping that my ride would be a little nicer when hitting the speed bumps and my car wouldn't crash down so hard.

It ended up being much more than that. It feels like it isn't even the same car. I have never been so impressed by something so simple that I've done to this vehicle. Upon accel it seems to pick up a little quicker and smoother, cornering is drastically improved, and driving at highway speeds is comfortable now. Before the car seemed to vibrate all over, and I hated it, but now, it's almost perfect.

I haven't done anything else to the suspension, but for $89... I don't think I've ever been more impressed before. So I know there's a more expensive brand I could have gone with, but gosh damn, I'm just so happy. :) These shocks kick the crap out of the 17 year old stock ones.

Needed to put that out there.

Okay, son's '91GT, base engine is 97 Mountaineer short block, 8.8:1 compression best I can find out.
He's running 24lb/hr injectors, with a basically stock pump, fuel lines, rails, etc..
I don't know the limitations of the stock pump and/or plumbing.

Q: Should we "upsize" the pump, lines, and rails?

First let me say forgive me if I didn't search long or far enough through the forums to find my answer. I'm very new to this and want to make sure I have facts straight and not just taking the word of guys who think they know it all about cars that I've talked to, lol! I did try though, but my question is sort of general about motor swaps.

I have a wrecked '97 Lincoln Mark Viii LSC that has a good transmission and motor. I'd like to put it into a Mustang, but really don't know where to start. My main question is which years of Mustangs will it work with and how much will be involved. I believe it will have to be a 5.0 or a Cobra. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, can the transmission be used as well. Any information on what all the swap will entail is appreciated too! My main concern at this point is what body of Mustang I should be looking for. Thanks again!
