Hey Everyone!!

This '07 GT is my first stang but Ive been obsessed with them for as long as I can remember. :D

Not really sure why it took me so long to join the site but I guess all that matters is that I made it Ive always checked out the site do look at the performance parts reviews and its awesome to see that I'm not the only person who appreciates other Mustangs on the road.

Here's the crappy part... I live in Rochester and I took my car off the road two weeks ago because weather was getting really cold and grey. Now that Ive taken it off the road its been gorgeous. Shocker.

I have been reading this forum for a few months and finally got around to registering. I live in South East, TX and own a 92 notch. I am Retired Army and currently a Network Tech for a Budweiser Distributor.
Not much else to say, hope to start some work on this thing this winter some time and fix the dent in the rear quater thanks to some genius in a sonic parking lot.

I recently joined the site in the beginning of November so I could begin researching! I am about to begin a mild restoration of an 89 Lx coupe. The car was originally a four cylinder automatic car. I have already picked up a t5 with a Steeda triax shifter. I should be getting my 302 and 8.8 this week sometime. My plan is to freshen up the engine and keep the car NA for now. The body was straight and there is only a small amount of rust under the hood! Here are some first pics. I have began work on it and would like a place to post my progress/build. Where is the best section to do that? Just create a thread under the 5.0 sub-forum? Thanks!

What's goin on, guys?

I just recently registered. There is such a vast amount of information here, and I can't wait read on and learn more about our cars.

A lil info about myself: My name's John. I've been in the Navy for 6 years so far. I'm an Electronics Technician, mainly working on radars. I've lived in San Diego since 1998.

My daily driver is a 2001 Bullitt. I bought it at the end of July this year after I came back from my third deployment. I purchased it for $15k. It had less than 12k miles on it, and a Vortech supercharger. Not a bad deal. And I just recently got it dyno tuned at JBA over here.

I'm also a proud owner of a 1968 Mercury Cougar. It's a standard with a 289 and 3spd manual tranny. I'm having a blast working on her, learning alotta stuff about cars along the way :D

The first car I owned was a '99 Pontiac Grand Am. And before I bought the Cougar and the Bullitt, I was cruising around town in an '04 Hyundai Tiburon GT. LOL  I've given that car to my lil brother :P

selling my 1970 chevelle project to start a 68 mustang.

i've been learning about chevy motors for the past few months and am now "turning to the darkside" to work with fords instead.

I've noticed a lot of the lingo is different, and since i'm a little bit of a noob, if anyone has advice on where i can learn the basic of ford engines and cars in general, i'd appreciate it. thanks!

Hey y'all, greetings from Northern Virginia!

This '06 vert is my second Stang, the first being an '01 GT 5spd coupe.

We're loving this car now that the mods are done.

I had to have a 5spd, black top and tan interior. When I saw this Legend Lime Stang on craigslist, I knew it was the car. I think only about 10 cars in this combination were made in '06.

The car was bone-stock, and on Saturday, Sept. 5th, I flew into Detroit airport and the sellers met me at the airport in the stang. I drove them to their bank in the car to do the deal. I made the drive back from Plymouth, MI back to DC in 8 hours, averaging 30mpg-- the first 5 hours with the top down. I got back home SO relaxed, they about had to pour me out of the car.

Love the car, love stangs, love the forum. We also have a modded '04 Crown Vic HPP which we also love. Now that the stang has a tune and 3.55 t-loc, it almost keeps up with the Crown Vic!

Peace!
