Has anyone looked into adding that as a feature?

Seems like we chat a lot here. I know ya'll use AIM sometimes but when you do - the board literally dies. If there was a feature here for that, you could probably still monitor the boards and chat at the same time???

Sure would make some of these random chats that start up in threads less and less....

Dunno...haven't seen a chat forum since the late 90's. Just a thought....

Your fool of poo. It has been brought up many times. Most of the time its the younger people that would stay in it. Also its not the kind internet relationship we want to pursue sweetie

Nope i think zip likes to contemplate the random gayness a chat room enviroment just isnt for the old goober. Also its the threads that give you material. A chat room is bland

Yeah but it's much easier to chat with people and the info in them go away when you close the box. (from other people anyway)

another mustang site i used to visit had one and it was pretty cool. just a little box at the top of the page. if you want to join in you can and if not you can just ignore it. do a poll (not that poll's ever get anything done around here)

i was actually a mod and an admin but the site was a lot smaller than mm.com and there were no dickheads (except me) so there was really no need to moderate the chat. the only moderation problems we really had were porn spammers

Is it something you can limit to X # of posts before this feature will unlock for you?? That way you have built a report with whomever has access to that feature. Make it easier to mod...
