but whats the point of a detailing section, it just doesnt seem like its needs a sub forum.

What's the point? To discuss techniques, product information, product specials, etc etc.

I think a Detailing subforum would be great as a subforum of Visual. Do work, son.

p.s. There is a lot of great information on techniques to follow/avoid and products to use/avoid that would be a great addition to the site. Come spring cleaning and nicer weather, Detailing would get a lot of traffic/hits.
