Though this would be a great idea, Haynes and Chilton already do a great job of that, and there are online PDFs for just about any maintenance or modification job.

Now, if you are talking about organizing a large database of manuals and installation guides for various vehicles/jobs, that would be a large task but would be lovely to have, granted we could get rights to compile the works.

I think that this is a great idea. And that maybe if nothing else, we could put some of our write ups together for the main part of the sight.. maybe as an easy reference guide or something.

like he stated, there is a lot of places online that do this. ie. mitchel *(dont know the website for it, but we use it at school and at my old work) alldata is another one i use to use at work and use all the time at school, the main problem is there really expensive, something like 2k a month to have unlimited use on it, but like $50.00 per use per car.

found the websites

Mitchell 1 - The First Choice of Automotive Professionals
ALLDATA - OEM Automotive Repair Information and Technical Service Bulletins

If we could get that material with respect to their copyrights and offer it for free, that would be great.
