Thread titles

People on this site always post stupid thread titles like
question
what do you think
A jeep forum i'm on has this pop up when you go to post a new thread.

Make sure your Thread title is descriptive so people will read it!

Do not put things like "Need Engine Help!" .. "Axle Problem!"

Describe your issue like "4.0 will crank but won't turn" ... "Dana 20 axle snapped"

I think it should include a "did you search first" part too.
Just a thought.

I think it would be useful, but I have solved that problem by having the option set when I put my cursor over the title, the first line or so shows, so I know what the topic is about before I click it.

Yup, i do that too, but sometimes they don't even put enough info in the first couple lines for me to know what its about.

Yeah that's how mine is set too... but sometimes I run into what Joe's talkin' about below \/\/\/

im all for this idea. this might also help with the redundancy we see in the tech sections also if theres the option of "did you search first" part.

I like the idea. I use the cursor to but like joe said, sometimes people lolligag in the first two lines.
