V6 forum
This is a gret forum but why the "1994-present" thing? some of the parts are interchangeable from as far back as 1982-3
why the percieved hate?

While I'd personally never buy a V6 Mustang, (If I was going to get a V6, it would be a 350z) it's what keeps the Mustang on Ford's selling list. Around here 9 out of 10 Mustangs I have seen have been V6s. The V6 stang allows Ford to keep selling the V8 IMHO. And Ford has always sold the Mustang with all kinds of different motors for different people's needs. A gal I know wanted a Mustang, but couldn't handle the V8, especially in the winter. It was just too much for her. So her hubby traded it in for the V6. While she still had problems from time to time, they were at a minimal. This let her have the car of her dreams, while still being able to handle it. She didn't care about 0-60 times. These people can be just as enthusiastic about their cars as we are ours. Another thing, since there are SO MANY V6 Mustangs around, it makes having a V8 one even more special. Where I live, the GTs around are few and far between. And those are rarely modded. Same goes with the F-body twins. Most are V6s with the occasional Z28 around. Very few modded. That is why I can't WAIT to get the money in to mod mine.
