If it were white, I'd definatly get on less. Other forums I'm on have white backgrounds, and I have probably less than 50 posts combined on all the other sites.

ya, the colors and set up for this website are perfect the way they are imo. i hate out the other sites i have been to are set up.

since somtime mid-late 2005, then it was shut down and reopened on i think august 11 (or 15) 2005

Increase the brightness on your monitor. If i'm on an old crt, that has dimmed out, its hard to see sometimes, especially when the quotes come out on black on black (not sure why it does that sometimes). Most monitors i use work just fine and its easy to see.

if the text is turning black, just close your browser and reopen it. a lot of times that clears that problem up.

I think it looks perfect...Not to extreme at all. I hate staying on SVTP for too long because the black background with white text gives me a massive headache lol

I like the colors, but you know what might be a good idea? Customized themes. I dont know if that option is avalibe will this board's code base... but if you could choose what theme you wanted for your account that would be sweet.

Plus I would love to design a few logos for different themes

This is a vbulletin forum, right? There are customized layouts but mm doesn't take advantage of that.

August is the 8th month, so how could it have been started mid-late 2005, closed, and reopend in august?

It went public in august of 05. When it went public it made everyone re-register thats how. You can close and re-open a forum on the same exact day if you want to so it's quite easy. And 8 out of 12 is right on par with mid-late.
