Suggestion for 'Regional' section
Just a suggestion is all. This site is the best around, and you guys all do a great job. But I just thought I would throw this out there.
Would it be possible to have state abbreviations listed under each regions sub-forum some how? Just to let people know which area they belong in. Here's why I say this: I always consider Oklahoma a Mid-West state so that's the section I go to. But I see quite a few "Oklahoma" threads in the Southwest section. Now, I'm just going off of Oklahoma. I know we aren't the brightest here in this state, so I don't know how often this happens to other states, but I have to think there are a few central based states that may be confusing on exactly which area they belong in. I just think it would make things more streamlined and produce more activity both in threads and at potential meet-n-greats if people could KNOW which section to go with. I realize the best idea would be for people to just remember 3rd grade geography, but that may be hard for some members around here (just judging from their brilliant posts *sarcasm*) Like I said, just a suggestion. I know you guys are busy. ls1tech.com has an example of what I'm talking about on their regional section. Also, they have another sub-section in the regional area for millitary members, Canadian members, and members from over seas.

We were discussing this in another thread. It does get confusing.

Haha! I literally brought up that point not even 2 days ago. I guess this goes to show that what I was saying rings true with members other than just myself.
But I agree, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Maryland, and maybe others are definitely confusing as they could be classified two different ways in the regional forums. And then the Alaska and Hawaii guys are just on their own, as well as our Canadian members.
