MM iPhone App
Now as some of you know, I suck at the internet. So, it would be theoretically imposable for me to do this. With that being said, I hate Apple products (had bad experience), but I’m sure a lot of you have iPhones and other smartphones. I was thinking that if someone optimized the site for mobile web browsers that it would generate additional interest/activity on the site.

There's already an app in the app store that works w/ vBulletin, etc.
We are working on getting a mobile version going I believe.

It's not really necessary these days. The good smart phones all have fully compliant browsers and enough screen resolution that you can access the site normally. I hit it with my Galaxy S phone on an almost-daily basis.
What exactly would an app provide that would make the forums work better on a mobile platform?

I dont get the need for the mobile version. On my phone it's 99.8% like the actual site. Is that not good enough?
Or is it for less capable phones? Just curious.

 Haha no really tho only thing I noticed that don't work is reps. I can't give reps from it.

I have an iPhone and a Nexus 1.. i came across an app for one of my old forums, e46fanactics.com, that had a specific app for the iPhone.. it is much better than than using the standard webpage on a phone.. Yeah, the phones do support high resolution and full web pages but it's so much easier on the CPU when you have a specific app.
If you have an iPhone, go to e46fanatics.com and try the app vs. the web experience. I would prefer to see the app support the android OS.
