Regional Section

Is it possible to get specific state divisions in the Regional Forums? Or a 50 State seperation?

I.e. Instead of having Mid-West, South-West, North-East sub-forums, we have: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, etc.

That would be really awesome to have specific state divisions and it would make networking with fellow MMers really easy! We could set up cruises and shows a lot easier and get the MM forum name out there even more with our meets!

lol there are like 10 people tops in canada land.

i think its a really good idea, because you look at west for example wanting stuff for la area (farthest i would drive) and see things in org and wash...

Canada too! I'm just saying, we need specific 50 state sections on the regional area!

Mustang meets are what keep Mustang culture alive (and let's face it, we definitely have a distinct culture and following around these cars), and if we had a section that had specific regions, like a California section, like a Nevada section, like a Colorado section, like a B.C., Canada section, people could much more easily organize meets and cruises.

Are any moderator's listening?

lol uhh why would that make anyone want to join more?? thats like me not joining unless there is a reginal "california" section....

they should join regardless, then when theres even enough people, have a section...

It's really no point in doing this because then you end up with sections that basically receive no traffic. The regional sections don't even have a lot of the traffic on the site. They are in the lower end actually. It just isn't worth splitting it up even more IMO.

mmm i think if we had state by state sections, popularity would increase.

and yes...i could create a single thread for Colorado, but if Colorado had its own section, then i could create threads about the annual All-American Car show in Loveland every July sponsored by the Northern Colorado Mustang Car Club. Or High Country Mustang Club's monthly Estes Park cruise. Or the Horsefeather's Car Show in August in downtown Greeley by the Early Mustang Club of Colorado. See what I'm saying? Easier way to network and get more involvement. I really do feel the regional section would get double to triple the traffic if this division came about.
