laggy site and posting problems

For some reason, most of the time the site is extremely laggy. And when I go to post I almost always get this: This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between posts. Please try again in 6 seconds.

I get that even though I only click the submit button one time!

yeah, we've been having these issues for a while now. we're trying to get it fixed, just waiting for the higher ups to actually take action

Wow sometime I can't even get logged in. Then when I do it takes 10 mins to load. Weird.

lol well it took me 15-20 minutes today to get from the home page to the forums section...i'm glad i have alot of guys from here on FB so i could ask them if they're having the same issue...which they were.

after refreshing more times then i remember it finally go to where i wanted to go...however changing sections it doesn't want to load past the top advertisment alot so i have to refresh again.

hope the higher ups look into it

nothing like database error messages. The server needs to be upgraded. It cant handle the web traffic or something.

I agree; I'm trying my best to keep AutoGuide moving on this. Sometimes it's like talking to a blueberry. It just doesn't go anywhere to be honest. I am however not giving up yet -just to let you know.

I apologize for any inconvenience; I really do...it's frustrating when you have a nice forum atmosphere but can't even post one word without the forum spitting out errors and lag issues.

Does your server unable to carry the web traffic load.

I would just like to let you guys know I have been getting Database errors for the last week. I know stuff happens and to me its not a big deal, but I just thought I would let you guys know. Good luck with getting everything sorted out.

Believe me; If I could do something about it I would. Personally I think the hardware in the server is gone to shit and cannot handle the traffic. That, or the RAID controller and drives are taking a dump. AutoGuide (the company who owns the site) is in control of all the servers and unfortunately they don't allow me access (I wish they would -it would save a lot of time).

Is anyone else having a problem loading random pages? Sometimes when I click a thread it will load just past the ad and be done. I have to hit reload for the whole thread to show up (sometimes twice before it works).

I'm getting the same thing, very random though. And It is still a bit laggy at times.

@ FastFox That's happened to me a lot on my Mac when running the site on Safari, and opening threads in a different tab. I'll open it in a new tab but when I go to the tab all that will load is the ad at the top. Once I refresh the page it'll load the whole thing. So no, you're not the only one.

On a good note, I haven't gotten a database error for a while now
