MMFR Voting Question

The staff has been discussing how to handle the MMFR (Modded Mustangs Featured Ride), but we're looking for input from the rest of the community.

This is a poll, but other opinions may be stated. Please post your reasonings and vote.

Admin Pick:

Admin picked the first two MMFR's.

If members voted, we would have a popularity contest where the most popular member amongst other members would be selected, not necessarily the most contributing member to the site (coming from an administrative pov)

If moderators voted, we would have an oligarchy populus vote where the "elite" members undermind the normal members, thus creating a sort of anxiety in the "peasant" class.

If admin picks from members' nominations, everybody would be happy, and the site admin could pick the most contributing member, not just the most popular amongst his peers.

MMFR should be a position of not only a badass car, but a helpful member who contributes more info to the site than any other member who hasn't already been elected MMFR. Anything other than admin pick would not credit the most worthy members the position, and we may lose some sensitive members due to the populus decision.

Normal members, moderators, and admin nominate, admin picks- this is the only way to build a trust-worthy system in the site to guarantee encouragement to always build content, regardless of popularity.
