Received a nice PM today:

With this message in mind, he told me on December 5th that he shipped it and was going to send me the tracking number. Also does not explain his daily logins and lack of returning PM's/

I'm going to go ahead and call BS on his reply to you.

The few times I've sold stuff to forum members on other forums, I get their paypal money, I deposit it in my bank to verify it's real, and I ship out once my bank confirms it's good. I send a UPS or USPS tracking number, and it's done. Most people I've bought from have done this as well.

Once, I bought PI heads off a TCCOA member for my now wrecked (stupid old woman) 97 Thunderbird. It took months to get them (after the car was wrecked even) due to issues like this.

Get in touch with PayPal asap and get it resolved. Sucks that he's being a dick about it, illness or not. And using illness as an excuse is stupid, may as well say a dog ate his homework.

Whos to say if hes lying or not, I hope he is. I wouldnt want the kid to be so sick that its a near death expierience.

I guess all you can do is, take his word that he did ship it out this time, and if you dont get it within the next few days, then somethings going on.

That being said, Cobrastang, hope you feel better man!

The other people that may have gotten "scammed" hope you guys get your items!

Let me just start by saying a big Fuck you to everyone who thinks i scammed anyone. Cody i dont give a shit what you think is true or not, Ive helped you NUMEROUS times on this forum with questions youve asked about plenty of things...Ive been in the hospital for 2 fuckin weeks in the ICU unit trying to keep myself alive. I dont give two fucking shits who believes me and who doesnt, i made this PERFECTLY fuckin clear i had cancer over 4 MONTHS AGO on other forums, so tough shit for those that didnt see it. I find it funny people are bitching because i didnt respond one week over a $65 item when others who spent over $400 were more than sympathetic with my situation. All the items have been shipped out to their appropriate buyers. And i dont know what "activity" you are talking about, my homepage is MM forums, obviously everytime my girlfriend uses the internet its going to say im online. My feedback is over 65+ on svtperformance and over 600+ on ebay. Hell last month i sold gold coins worth more than some peoples cars on here!! all happy buyers...Believe me im not going to ruin my reputation on the forums over $500 worth of items.

Oh and BTW i dont know who is talking about facebook, i havent used facebook in over a month.

Read your last PM. Also, being your homepage doesn't automatically log you in. And on your profile, it shows recent activity. And the thread on SVTP is even longer than on here, so IDK what you're talking about with them being more sympathetic. If in fact you do have cancer, I obviously wish you the best, as I have stated, but everything still doesn't add up. You clearly stated you shipped it on the 5th. This also isnt the first time this disappearing act happended. And as some friendly advice, if you have such bad health problems, maybe it isnt the best idea to be selling a bunch of car parts, at least not without a disclaimer saying something along the lines of "You can buy from me, but due to my health problems, I may become unavailable for extended periods of time." Believe me, it really took a lot for me to start this thread. Almost a MONTH since I paid you. And for the three weeks after I paid you, you were still apparently fine and couldn't have gotten them out then? You kept making excuses about "holidays" and whatnot. I still don't know if I buy your story...

yes it does when you have Automatically logged in checked.....im pretty sure i said it would go out on the 5th and that i didnt ship it already. And people with health problems dont need disclaimers, thats rediculous. And i dont know how one week qualifies as extended periods of time, its one week were talking about, not 3 months...and are you serious? a month? try like 3 weeks, and 2 of them were in the hospital, i would hardly consider that the 3 weeks you say before i was sick. the only story not adding up here is yours...

box dropped off at mailing department, i put mailing slip in outbox for mailing department, they leave it for fedex, i get tracking number next day. Sick + no slip in outbox = no shipment!

Everything worked out. codycat91 & LIGHTNING02GT have both informed me that their transactions are complete.

Thanks to everyone involved, CobraStang161, cody, and Lightning for keeping everyone involved up to date on the finalization of these deals. We don't always get that in these situations, so regardless of what went wrong in the beginning, I'm glad everyone did the right thing at the end of the day here.
