I took a quote out of the moderator's room, in reference to a revamped banning system. I will say that in the 2 1/2 years since we started there have only been a half dozen people banned (other than spammers), and that's pretty darn impressive. Most of the issues we've had of late seem to be related to the underground forum, were the rules get pushed a bit. FYI - we're not a smut house. Tasteful chicks on Mustangs really is what the idea was behind that area, without having anything up that might get someone in trouble at work in the clubhouse. If it's something you wouldn't want your 12 year old to see looking over your shoulder, you probably shouldn't post it. We draw the line at nekked bottom half pics if you know what I mean, so please don't embarass me or the moderators who (whether at work or not) still need to make sure the site is clean for all Mustang enthusiasts.

At any rate, here are the details on the infraction/banning system we employ here at Modded Mustangs.

All infractions are worth 1 point and last for 10 days, except for a major spamming infraction which is worth 5 points (and leads to a perm ban... will explain). Infractions acrue and expire, and when they accumulate: 1 point - nothing happens. 2 points - user is on probation, cannot see underground and loses signature. 3 points - user is banned for 1 day. 4 points - user is banned for 7 days. 5 points - user is perm banned (mostly for taking care of spammers).

i like it all except for the take away the sig thing alot of people dont have a sig in the first place and taking it away for 10 days from others will be about as much punishment as letting the fat kid only have half a cake instead of the whole thing. and nothing happens with 1 point so why even have 1 point why not do this

1 point - user cannot see underground and loses signature (avatar if no signature used)
2 points - user is on probation, cannot see clubhouse
3 points - user is banned for 1 day.
4 points - user is banned for 7 days.
5 points - user is perm banned (mostly for taking care of spammers).

because somebody might post something that they don't know if it's against the rules to post or not, and they deserve some type of warning first
