I tend to disagree.
Based on this alone, I think they are much improved: 'Tools Classifieds section for automotive related tools. Things such as diagnostic scanners, hand tools, etc. While NBA is a tool, this is not for member discussion.'

If I'm lookin for a TB or Rims, or something else, it's easier going to a section rather than sifting through 40 pages of people selling their Xbox games, and iPods and headlights etc etc etc... |

i like it...but i think people will just be ignorant and post stuff in the for sale section instead of the specific one...and the mods will have to clean it up alot

It seems like it is just a lot of going back and forth to see what is for sale. The purchases I've made through here were just from scanning through and not looking for anything in particular. Does anyone know if there is a way to view all instead of hitting each group?

We will be closing the For Sale, WTB, and For Trade areas once we get them cleaned out. Therefore there would be no more confusion.

My 2c---I don't really like the "new" classified setup. It's too much like Stangnet now. While I agree that if I'm looking for something specific it would be nice to go to that area (providing the knot-head putting the parts up for sale put it in the right section), I don't want to have to open up five or six different pages to browse through looking at what's new.
Why not break down the classifieds into more generic sections such as Parts For Sale, Parts WTB, Parts For Trade, Other Stuff For Sale? That would get rid of the games and other stuff from the real classifieds and still provide an easy way to scan what's new instead of opening up all of the different sections. |

Yeah... I have to say I'm not a big fan of the new classifieds. I've done a fair bit of business on various boards and have my usual browsing pattern from MustangForums to here to 3.8, to my local mustang forums, then to Craigslist. I often only buy things when I find a good deal on them, but when I'm really searching for something specific, I used my skills as an advanced forum-er to Search and/or use the Want to Buy threads. It's just inconvenient now to browse through each section to find any good deals... It is very similar to StangNet's classifieds and that's exactly why I stopped browsing their classifieds! My .02 =)

I think it makes everything a lot more easier to find what you want! and it may not be what your use to and its normal for ppl to not like new things but give it some time and youll start to get use to it and like it...
