Car Cover - what type?

Now that I have a second car, I'm guessing I'd really like a car cover to keep the dust off. What kind do you have <purchased from> how much and are they lined in like a microfiber so they don't scratch the paint?

THANKS!!!

I've heard people complain about car covers scrathing their paint from putting it on and taking it off (not from the material it's made from on the inside). I opted for the california duster instead.

You can get excellent covers right from your dealership parts counter. A good one will set you back a couple hundred bucks.

which ever one you get make sure the car is clean before you put the cover on.. even so use one of the original (+1^)California Duster brand dusters to remove dust right before you put it on.. the fitted ones are more expensive and work well to minimize movement of the cover.. it is best to put them on with 2 people but there is a pretty good way to do it yourself by folding it like a sleeping bag. now you have to keep the cover clean to.. it's kind of a PITA and you will still need to dust it off after removal.. this all applies to inside storage...

Hmmmm...maybe I'm better off just using my CA Duster and saving some $$? I'd be the only one putting it on..so I understand now how I could scratch it. I was thinking it would have been a thin lightweight material for garage use only. OK not getting one. Thanks MM'ers are the best.
