porter cable ftw!!


I jus picked up a porter cable random orbital polisher yesterday....it is one sweet little tool!!! I havnt had the chance to use it yet but from what I hear its the best polisher around what do you guys think about the results it gives?

It is definitely NOT the best polisher around. It might possibly be the best beginner polisher around, but then some will even say the flex is much better. But it is indeed a good tool and can show great results, but don't expect too much paint correction out of it.

On a side note, I love mine.

I have a PC and it's ok! I would rather have the Flex 3401.

I borrowed the PC from a friend and used it on my black Subaru.

Started with the car recently clayed.
Orange pad for the Optimum compound and grey pad for the polish.
It was easy to use and the 6 year old car looks great.

Thanks, I watched lots of videos on how to break down the products.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would. I used the light compound and polish with the PC and finished with Klasse All-in-one by hand.

Next time you do it, finish it off with a sealant or a carnuba wax by hand or machine, and you will be amazed.
