i finally clayed the stang today and followed with the cleaner wax provided in the maguires kit it took a while but man that clay really works, yet i used only one bar and saved the other for next time but ran out of the quick mist detailer ill have to go pick some more up i think im liking maguires more now the results were great and the paint feels really smooth thanks for the help guys

It is good stuff, but it is not made for claying. Stick with the red bottle for clay lube.

Just because your not having a problem with it doesn't mean its working correctly.

Let me ask you this, what do you use a clay bar for? To remove contaminates and old wax, correct? If you read the label on the bottle of UQD, they use what Megs calls "Polymers" to protect your paint and make water bead. So how are you going to remove the wax, or "polymers" if your using them as a lube.

See what I am getting at? If Meg's wanted or recommended people to use UQD, then it would come with their clay kit.

Now don't get me wrong, you are not going to hurt anything. But some things such as glazes, some waxes, ect, must have a clean surface to bond to, and thats where the clay and regular lube come in hand. But just for your average run of the mill clay and nxt, cleaner, mothers, ect wax the UQD will be fine.

I use Adam's detail spray for my clay lube, best I have found.
