Clean Engine woot...

got bored and cleaned up the engine...followed the engine bay cleaning thread on the site and it took care of alot of the dirt and build-up...still needs some detail work but i though WTH...post a pic..

thx...im going to take a towel and shine to the rubber hosing...and i repainted the air intake black because it was old looking...then i got bored and paited it dark blue, and then black again...lol its a dark black and blueish tint...see

You can use a wheel cleaning wand to get those crevices (spelling?)

The method that Emay posted works liek a charm and I do it to the cars I detail if they ask. You can also use an old (firm if possible) toothbrush for some stubborn spots.

yeah...i want this motor to be as clean as my car always is...it might be a sixxer, but it'll be a shiny one

cute. spray hoses with foam tire shine. i just cleaned under my hood using emay's method, spray with water, coat of simple green, wipe grime, water, F21 foam tire shine, wipe. looks amazing. hoses all look straight from the factory shiny black

i actually just used it for the first time on the actual interior of my car

Turtle Wax F21 dash protectant...only a couple bux at any auto parts store or walley world...its in a neon green bottle and its great on both interior dash parts and the rubber hosing in the engine
