How to Mount a Garmin?

I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 255w. I don't want to mount it on the windshield. And where I want to mount it is (I have a 2006) right between the air vets, right above the stereo. But the windshielf mount that Garmin gives you keeps falling off of there.

So do you guys know any accessories or any tricks to get that thing to stay on, its just a suction cup?

KRAZY Glue? LOL

The surface is probably textured more than glass is (even if its a slight difference)

I know a guy who did this...as long as the unit is fully charged, he put velcro on it and works great. But he has the small screen model. I have a dash mat.

Gave up on the falling off the winshield stuff. There is a great cheap otion. It has a post that the Garmin snaps into and it is a bean bag that sits on the dash.

SUPER EZ to use!

In fact I have that Garmin bean bag dash mat. I got it from QVC.com it really is nice and doesn't slide around.
