headlight refinishing/wet-sanding?
okay, got some headlights (used) for my 00 gt. smoked 03 models. they had some bad hazing from sun exposure. I wetsanded with 1000, 1500, and then 2000 grit, then finished with some turtle wax rubbing compound with my porter cable, and then followed up with plast-x both. did them both around setting 6. they're still a little hazy.
any way to fix this further? i guess i could go with a 3000 grit sand paper? or could I "lightly" smoke them or clear them from the outside and make them look better. I wish plastic headlight lenses didn't turn out looking like ass.

mine are just hazy, maybe i didn't spend enough time with the 2000 grit.
