I want to remove my rocker panel stripes, whats easiest?

I'm getting tired of my stripes and I think it would look alot cleaner without them, what would you guys suggest doing? I tried a hair dryer quick, but that didnt work, used a razor blade, then thought that wasnt so smart, then gave up.

Any suggestions?

THEY SEEM LIKE they've been on there from the factory not sure though, I've seen a few other mustagns with the exact stripes that I have though too, so I'm not sure.

Coming from somebody who doesn't know much about cars but did you try and look up if the factory even offered stripes on that model.

Also do you know anybody that works or owns a body shop you may be able to get somebody to take a look at it.

Dont use a razor blade unless you wanna have to sand (idk if you do that to a door or not) and get it repainted.
