Which is better spraypaint or the stuff you have to mix?

I was just wondering because I want to repaint my car but have the professional clear coat shine to it. So which is better? I was going to buy the 4oz can of mystic blue paint from TCPglobal.com and use duplicolor clear coat I know you have to buff it and polish afterwards but they should both look the same right?
I fixed my sideskirts and was going to paint them blue (my car is silver btw) but I plan on doing it sections at a time like one day the hood the next the trunk until its just the body left. but was wondering for the car spray cans or buy the spray guns I already have an air compressor but nowhere to paint at.

well...if your going to use a paint gun make sure your compressor doesn't sputter air but gives you a nice flow of air...

as for the paint...i have seen foxes around here spraybombed with just krylon and a clear coat polished and buffed...let me go find a pic of a local stang that did...

if you take your time and are good with a can, spray paint can look awesome

^I would agree. Not sure what the long term reliability would be. If you have an air compressor all you need is an air dryer and a HVLP gun. A makeshift booth can be made.

Look at it this way... do you want a quick cheap job? If so, go with rattle cans. Do you want a longer but much better looking job? If so, get you a quality spray gun and quality paint along with all the other tools and take your time.

The problem I am running into tryin to get my own painting setup made is the compressor. Seems the compressors that put out enough cfm's for the guns are very expensive. The guns themselves are not expensive at all.
