For drying buy a waffle weave microfiber towel and you might also want to buy some detergent as well Don’t drown your microfibers, clean and restore them with Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator!

I have used the ShMitt and I have loved it. But I know many guys swear by the sheepskin wash mitt.

DI Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel - 36" x 24" | Detailed Image

DI Accessories Sheepskin Wash Mitt | Detailed Image

I have both of these and love them also get some the detergent for them as well. As for doing nothing special I suggest you should at least follow this link the products used are top notch. If you get the kit for 89.99 you get 4 towels and the wash sponge that great and several other product to get the entire job done correctly.

PakShak is the shit... I ordered 12 Ultra-Plush 16x16 towels from them solely for buffing polish and wax residue. Great products and great customer service.

I thought the 16x16 Ultra-edgeless were for removal or polish and wax residue and the 16x16 Ultra-plush were meant for QD. Not that they cant be used for that but what made you go that route instead.

Well... ya, thats what they are advertised for. However you could use these towels for everything. I have some very plus ones from Autogeek I use for QD. The name of them escapes me atm.
