I like the look and idea behind Lime Prime... but $27 for 250ml seems a bit much.

Since I never really drive the car a lot, I kinda want to stop applying sealants to it and simply use high quality waxes for that glow. Lime Prime would be great for that also since its made to help a nuba wax. However... like I siad... $27 for 250ml.

Found it for $20 on AG.

I think I may give it a shot. If it does not remove the water spots that are stuck on the paint I can spot treat with M105/205. This would be good for the car I think. I don't use any chemical cleaner on it.

This is the version with abrasives, btw... not the Lite. Good choice?

Sucks I would not be able to use my Glossworkz Glaze however.

Grabbed a bottle of it and the Supernatural Finger Applicator (better for applying from the 30ml pot of Supernatural Wax).

Lime Prime acts as a glaze with the oils and such. It depends on if the properties of Lime Prime and Glossworkz are the same, therefore allowing the oils and such to merge together on the paint. The wax will be attaching to these products rather than the paint really. Having two layers of oils might cause issues.

Also... I look at it this way; Yes, I will be covering a good bit of stuff up on the Mustang by using Lime Prime's oils. However, Since the car is a show car I don't really mind. It makes me have to work less to get it 100% perfect for each show. The judges don't care if the paint is 100% corrected or 80% corrected, as long as it shines its best!

With this, the Mustang is strickly going to have 2+ layers of nuba wax on it now, no sealants.

The guys I know usually do an IPA wipe down after to remove the polishing oils left over from Lime Prime after polishing unless they are going straight to carnauba. If you do this you then can use CG Glossworkz Glaze then go to applying Supernatural. If I get Lime Prime I will be doing IPA wipedowns after. Its Lime Prime Lite that is the glaze/paint cleanser it sort of like Swissvax Cleaner Fluid or Zymol HD Cleanse you use it prior to applying their carnaubas. The regular Lime Prime is a light polish/pre-wax cleanser it does have oils just like most fine polishes do for added lubrication so that you can do jeweling with them just like Menzerna 85RD, Scholl S40, and 3M Ultrafina. But, just like you would removes those oils after polishing with one of those, it's good to remove the oils left from Lime Prime after use. But the difference here is that if you want to leave the oils on after polishing to go straight to applying a carnauba its ok, but if your going to use a sealant then its best to remove them. I like that fact that your going to do it up more natural on the mustang now since its your weekend driver. Oh if your interested in trying out some more DoDo carnuabas check out this thread man you can get them cheaper the guy even has the limited edition Austintatios for sale. Or one of the best carnaubas on the market Zymol Vintage, check out the second thread its a great price too only $125 for 3oz or best offer and I am sure it will look just sick on your mustang and I know the guy selling it he is cool and I am sure will take a bit less if you offer it to him

LSPs and Polish

LSP Sale: Dodo Juice, RBOE, Collinite and more...

Oh on a separate note who do I contact if I want to change my screenname I want to see if it can just be Danny instead of dannyboy281. Also the writing below it since I think I now qualify to make a custom one LOL.

Ah, I see. I was mistaking the properties for the Lite with the Pre-Wax that I bought.

As for the waxes, I can't afford to spend any more money right now sadly. My monthly budget has been cut drasticly, so a lot of the hobbies have to slow down sadly.

I will deff post a review on it when I get a chance to use some.

As for the name/message under name... contact any admin (red name): ChrisJ, Zip, ect.

Bumping this to share my Winter Prepped car. 1 Pass with Menzerna Super Finish, 2 Coats of Powerlock, and 1 Coat of AGHD.

Next spring I'm going to pick up some PO85RD and try to get a super deep gloss on the car.

More pics to come in the "Pics of your ride as it sits thread" after I do a small photoshoot in the next few days.
