Vader, what do you use the MFs you bought for? I tried using them with a QD after a wash, but the towels snag a LOT on the paint. The paint is smooth and clayed/polished so thats not the problem.

I switched to my Monster MFs and it was much better. I am considering using thoese MFs for Polish and Wax removal...

I use them for everything on my paint..they are basically the only thing I use..Wax removal, QD, drying. Sometimes they get a little grabby using a QD i think its because of the longer nap compared to the monster MF..I like them better then my Monster MF. Monster MF work better for compound and polish removal but I still like the rolled edges more.

Hmm, well, I will give them another try and see.

If they catch with the QD, then I bet they will catch with polish removal. I just really don't care for MF that catches like that. I could use the QD on the car much faster with the Monster MF because I was not stopping to re-set the towel all the time.

Maybe I can make these only wax removal, thus keeping my other MFs away from the dreaded "no absorb" effect.

Why not try the Uber Quick Detailing Microfiber I have been told its almost exactly the same as Swissvax Micro-Fluffy which go for $34 a piece which are claimed to be some of the best microfibers for wax removal and quick detailing. A detailer who has both and uses alot of Swissvax products told me about them. I am going to order a few this next order

Here is the Swisswax Mirco-Fluffy

Swissvax USA: Micro-Fluffy Wax towel, anthracite/red

And here is the Uber Quick Detailing Microfiber

The main consideration here is price. I am contempt with the Monster MF. Nothing wrong with them at all. The Blue/Green ones from AG are simply a really good value. They come out to $3 each when buying a 6 pack.

I picked them up based on that. Now I simply need to find them a place in my arsenal which consist of:
  • 12 CG Yellow MFs - Compound Buffing
  • 3 CG Monster MFs - QD
  • 12 Black MFs - Wheels
  • 3 Cobra Jr. 600 MFs - QD
  • 12 (possibly 18) AG Blue MFs - Polish, Glaze, Sealant and Wax buffing

I simply need to find where these will work.
