It cool man just wash it your going to correct it anyways. Just start washing via TBM and when you place your order get some grit guards. Also if you dont want to try a sheep skin or wool mitt try the Uber Sponge man its a great wash media and cheap. Check out this it was my first correction and I used M105 and M205 I have to say it came out pretty damn good for my first go. I would suggest you get better pads than the ones I used. Like say, the Surbufs for M105 and a pack of Uber 5.5" pads 1 yellow, 1 orange, 2 green, 1 blue. And use M205 with the green or blue uber I suggest the green though.

How to Paint Correct with Meguiars M105/M205

I bookmarked your link for later use. I think I'm going to head out now to do the car. I believe most of the swirls came from the 1st owner and then when I waxed it doing the overlapping circles method back in the spring. My dad also used a bathroom towel to dry the side of the car when he got it wet washing his car once (yikes!)

May I ask what "washing via TBM" means?

Just got done, the snow storm last week really made it hard to get the car clean. There was a lot of water marks so I had to go over them carefully twice.

I'm not too happy with the results. It was hard to look at the drivers side with the sun on it because it was so hazed up and swirled. At an angle it looked fine but oh, I feel bad man. It needs to be corrected but after that's said and done, it still has a too many paint chips and scratches to heal up with Dr. Colorchip and look show room presentable.

Thinking about wasting money on a respray now lol I give up easy

Dude dont give up man you haven't even tried correcting it yet mine was like that too before I corrected it. And from the picture in your signature your ride looks nice and in better shape than mine was before the correction. I would correct it first and then if you want to re spray say the front bumper due to rock chips at a later date do it man. Thats what I did but I removed my front bumper and took it in to get it re sprayed then picked it up and reinstalled it on my own then corrected it with my PCXP and Surbuf pads about a month later came out great Also did this with the spoiler. Oh by the way Corey aka "Gerbig" is selling his PCXP for $110 shipped thats a really good price because it already comes with the 5" Lake Country backing plate and a new Surbuf pad. I would jump on it if I was you especially since he has only had it for less than a year, I know because I helped him get started as well. You then only need a another pack of surbufs and a pack of polishing pads like the Ubers or the Buff and Shines. I have a pack of 5.5" Surbufs for sale that I only used once on my bumper like I told you I just bought them less than a month ago. I am selling both my polishers to get a better rotary and Surbuf pads cant be used via rotary thats why I am selling them. If you use the PXCP with Surbuf pads then you will get some really great results with M105 man since its one of the most aggressive combos you can use on a D/A, and you can get the same results as a rotary. Check out these two link your will be amazed at what it can do for you

Todd C shows how well it works in the video here but read the article as well.

Thanks for the support, it's tough aiming for perfection. I see what you mean, and thank you. I'll be patient as possible and get this thing fixed up. Most of the rock chips are on the side skirts and doors. There's a quarter sized chip that I repainted that is coming back on the pass. side rear quarter panel, and a few scratches on the c-pillar I also fixed up. It's not absolutely bad, I'd say average for a black car from 2002. I'm thinking of getting an '01 cobra front bumper, '03-'04 cobra side skirts and mach 1 c-pillars. That should fix up a lot of the little marks.

I'm not even sure if this car has been repainted or not because there's drip around the gas lid, HARD to see but it's there, and where the mach 1 grille piece goes (not the lip) it was painted black. Not to mention, under the car the rear bumper looked like it was resprayed from red to black. The sticker says UA though.

Well its a 2002 man most vehicles are going to have some flaws but don't worry so much man once you correct it it is going to look worlds better. You should pm gerbig man if you did you see the links I posted for you on what the pcxp, surbufs and m105 can do? He has it for $100 shipped now
