Thinking about buying ONR

Its on sale at DI.. and it would be nice to finally try it this winter. I think its going to be a rough winter. Would you suggest the 32oz or 128oz? I figure one wash per week, at 1.5oz (water is a bit hard here)/gallon would give me:

1.5oz/Gallon @ 3 Gallons:

7 Washes with the 32oz = $1.57/Wash
28 Washes with the 128oz = $1.03/Wash

Hmmm... Part of me wants to just go with the 32oz to try it out, but the 128oz is such a better deal.

Nice post...

Here is the thing. I don't plan to use it on the Mustang. The Mustang will barely even be used this Winter. When I do wash it, I will suck it up and wash it normally with hit water. It does not get so cold here I can't stand 1 wash a month of so normally.

The ONR will be for a DD, so I am not drasticly concerned about swirls. I plan to hit it with M205 soon. Its a Blue Metallic that hides swirls VERY well, so the plan to M205, Glossworkz glaze, 3 coats of Powerlock, weekly or bi-weekly washes with ONR followed by a spray wax every other wash.

I also think I will still foam the cart prior to washing with ONR. This way I can pre-rinse and pre-soak the car with foam. Rinse it off again and get to washing with ONR. Add a spray form of ONR and I should be good to go.

I will prob get the gallon...

Good idea to foam it down and rinse prior to washing with ONR when extra dirty, I also told the OP that I am going to do that on one of the post on that thread. And go back and use my foam gun since it hasn't been used at all since I purchased my Karcher 5.85M and foam cannon. I might go to the coin wash up the street from my house this winter and do my ONR wash out there. I just wont be able to use my Metro MasterBlaster for drying, or I might just pressure rinse it then, and drive home and do the ONR wash here so I can use my MasterBlaster, it will keep my hands warm by making drying a breeze so my hand dont get wet and the air get heated up so it will also warm my hands LOL.

Get the gallon, I just ordered a gallon of it from DetailersDomain (15% off right now). Have you ever used optimum opti-clean? I hear its similar and I am rather pleased with opti-clean. The smell alone is worth it

Edit: wow, that is an awesome deal!

I have to bump this thread because I went to Optimum's website and watched their video. An airplane flies overhead during it, and the dude has some serious long hair and wears sunglasses the whole time, I found it pretty funny

No Rinse Wash and Shine

How much Opticlean do you have? I have Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer it cost $20 per gallon more than Opti-clean but I have been wanting to try Opti-clean, maybe we can do a trade for a few ounces since they are both a 3:1 dilution. Maybe like 6 oz for 10 oz or 12oz for 16 oz to make a bottle or two worth this way we both get to try out different Optimum Products. PM me if your interested man I can get it out to soon since I already have your shipping info. Also sent you a PM that I sent the other Optimum products and Uber backing plate out yesterday man and gave you the tracking #

I got the PM, thanks!

I've got about 14 ounces of Opticlean left and a spray bottle full of diluted product, so you can have the undiluted if you'd like. I'll be using the ONR from here on out since I have so much of it now, so yeah I'd definitely be down with a swap. When I get home I'll PM you a pic so you can see how much I've got.
