I would add some Sonax Gloss Shampoo to your detailers domain order and drop the Meguiars. Its a wash soap.
Don't get those home depot spray bottles either. I had 3 of them, 1 broke during the first car I detailed with it, 1 broke on the 3rd car I detailed. I threw the 3rd one away after that happened. Currently I'm using some $2 ones from walmart. They're pretty cheap feeling, but so far they haven't broken on me One day I'll pick up some Kwazaars. Also, for a sealant, add Menzerna Powerlock to that DD.com order. I love the stuff.

I have the Wal Mart version of those Craftsman lights you're looking at. But I would go with the crafstman. I only bought the Wally World's cause Home Depot was sold out of the craftsmans.

Do you think thats enough light to do some proper paint correction??
Edit: also, is there any difference between color of clay bars? Which brand should I go with? |

It's plenty of light to do paint correction. I've done paint correction underneath a canopy during the middle of the day. With those lights.
But a garage is the best place to do it, if you have access to it. Or working at night.

That list looks like shit! you have it all wrong!
![]() Green pad + M205 = It looks like you are getting 2 orange, 2 green and 2 blue right? I think I'm reading that right. I would also consider swapping out a wash mitt for a $2 grout sponge from a hardware store, they work well and are cheap, and will probably save you from more scratches than a cheap mitt. I know I always used more pressure with a mitt. I've had good luck with the home depot spray bottles, I have 6 of them now. I had the top pop off one but I pushed it back on and its been fine ever since The only problem I could see someone having is that they aren't super easy to adjust, but it only takes one spray to see where they're at. The dilution ratio's on the side are great though.

Dude its the exact same polisher man. you would then just need to do then is get a pack of pads and polishes. And yes its at a very good price man you would be saving like $80 man even if you go get the same polishes and pads after, if you get the porter cable 7424 xp from gerbig instead of the kit you posted

I posted it for sale for him on detailing bliss we decided to lower the price on it today man. PM him man tell him I told you about it
I suggest the claymagic fine grade or the uber clay kit or you can get the mothers clay kit man its available locally and works really well. I use the mothers on clients vehicle's. I use the claymagic fine grade on my personal vehicles..I also know alot of guys like the uber clay kit. There is other clays like zaino, sonus, and bilt hammer which are bit more expensive but work really well.

Looks good to me man you will need a drying microfiber the uber ultra plush drying towel is a good one. Also I suggest for pads you get some subufs for m105 and as for the uber pad pack get 2 greens two blues and one black and get the surbufs for compounding
