Cleaned her up today
She got a bath, clay, polish, and two separate coats of wax.
Rail dust was insane, that dirt was from half the trunk lid ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Didn't go wild, but I spent 4 good hours on it. |

Looks good man what products did you use. And yes it had alot of contaminates but thats not a surprise if its a new vehicle and was transported via rail.

I used a mix of carbrite and zep. Zeperfex cleaner wax with a syclo, a weather shield wax from zep and carbrites nano wax. It came out pretty decent.

Zep to most of us around this board usually has a totally different meaning. hahahahaha
That clay was awful by the way! Glad you got that crap out of there. I've worked on a couple new vehicles (recently did one our local Ford Dealer's new Lincoln MXK's for showroom prep) and some of the cars transported by rail are just freaking awful when you get into them with a good clay for the first time.

Yeah I'm glad I got all of that off of there. Now if the snow would stop I could drive it.

Looks great! Man that clay is filthy! Some serious contamination there!
